How far in advance can I book my sessions for The Craft program?
Answer question 3 We can book all the remaining sessions for your program on our first meeting. Or we can schedule week by week, it's completely up to you. What's important is that we consistently have one session per week.
What is Traditional Chinese Medicine?
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a holistic medicine that understands and honors the interconnection between humans, Nature, and the Universe. And knows their relationship to be in direct correlation with health.
TCM is a body of medicine with roots that span thousands of years. Its study and practice have been present and consistent for just as long.
As a medicine, it has its own diagnosis method and treatment modalities. Acupuncture might be the most famous of these modalities, but Herbal medicine is just as fundamental to TCM.
There are other very powerful therapeutic modalities in Traditional Chinese Medicine, such as Tai Chi, Cupping and Moxibustion.
One thing bout this medicine that has never stopped to inspire my reverence is how long it has been in use. It's earlier text dates back to the 3rd century BC!
What is Energy Healing & How does it work?
Just like Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and other ancient healing traditions, Reiki works with the energy force that flows through us and gives us life.
Depending on the context of the healing tradition we are working with, different names could reference this energy, like Chi (TCM), Prana (Ayurveda), and Life/Universal Force (Reiki).
This Energy Force is the foundation for everything that happens in our body, mind, and spirit. The goal of an energy healing session is to free the flow and re-balance your Energy Force.
Energy healing can be done in person or at a distance. In a session, the practitioner becomes a channel of energy for the patient to activate the patient's ability to heal and re-balance their Qi.
I always advise my patients to make time to meditate or be relaxed when receiving a healing session, but this is not strictly required.
